Chris Arthurs is a 30-year veteran of the Peel District School Board and currently teaches Music and English at Clarkson Secondary School. His studies and certifications have taken him to University of Western Ontario and University of Toronto, and he has served two seasons with the world renowned Band of the Ceremonial Guard. He is a published writer with the Ontario Ministry of Education and has led many music festival and teaching organizations. As performer, teacher and conductor, he demonstrates extensive knowledge of concert band literature and is now composing his own works for the OWO. He is known for his engaging and  humourous approach to music and truly enjoys his work with the musicians of Canada’s longest continuously operating community concert band.
